St Austell Camera Club is delighted to announce that members’ work is now on display at the beautiful Lanjeth Water Garden. The brand-new Pavilion building provides a stunning backdrop for our framed images, showcasing highlights from last season’s photography.
There’s something for everyone in the exhibition – from landscapes and wildlife to portraits and creative shots – all captured by our talented and enthusiastic members.
This marks an exciting milestone for the club, which has thrived over the past year and is proud to be holding two exhibitions this month alone.
If you’re visiting Lanjeth Water Garden, do stop by, take a look, and enjoy the creativity on show. We’d love for you to come and see what our members have been working on.
Lanjeth Nursery & Water Gardens: A Hidden Gem Thriving in Cornwall
Lanjeth Nursery and Water Gardens has gone from strength to strength, thanks to the dedication of its new owners. This unique site, just on the outskirts of St Austell, Cornwall, has been lovingly transformed into a must-visit destination for nature lovers and garden enthusiasts.
Now open to visitors, Lanjeth offers more than just a scenic stroll—it’s a living, evolving landscape. Conservation work is still ongoing, and witnessing this transformation in progress is all part of the experience.
Tucked away just south of St Austell, Lanjeth is truly a Cornish gem. Designated as part of the Lanjeth Heath County Wildlife Site, the grounds span an impressive 15 acres (some maps list 13.5 acres) of natural beauty. Visitors can explore more than 130 interconnected lakes and ponds, wander through wet woodlands, and discover tranquil pockets of ancient woodland—all linked by winding, sun-dappled paths.
Whether you’re drawn to the serenity of water gardens, the charm of native wildlife, or simply the joy of a peaceful walk in nature, Lanjeth offers something special for everyone.
