St Austell Camera Club recently welcomed Bodmin Camera Club for an enjoyable and friendly inter-club battle. The competition, judged by Ian Butler, centred around the theme of “Red,” inspiring a wide variety of creative and striking images from both clubs.
It was a great evening of photography, with members showcasing their talents and sharing in some healthy competition. We also enjoyed some good chats and nibbles along the way, making it a relaxed and sociable occasion.
St Austell came out on top on points this time, with Steve Powell taking overall first place, and we look forward to travelling to Bodmin next year for the return match.
Events like this highlight the strong connections between local clubs and provide a fantastic opportunity to enjoy and celebrate each other’s work.
