IMage Preparation
Entering Images for Competitions
Mounted Print Entries
Prints should be submitted mounted on card with an overall size no greater that 50 cm by 40 cm.
For external competitions the mount must be exactly 50 cm by 40 cm.
Prints must be titled at the top right corner of the back. This denoted the viewing orientation of the print. The author’s name must not be visible anywhere on the print or mount.
In addition, for each print, prepare a digital version according to the instruction for digital images below, renaming the digital image to the same title as the print version.
Digital
Digital images must not exceed 1600 pixels wide or 1200 pixels high.
If an image is resized to 1600 pixels wide but the height is greater that 1200 pixels, the image must be resized again so that the height becomes 1200 pixels.
Save the digital images as a JPEG (.jpg) at the highest (finest) setting and set the colour space to sRGB.
