Members Choice

St Austell Camera Club Members Choice Competition for this season is 'Long Exposure'

For this competition we define long exposure to be an exposure longer than 1/8 sec. This will provide great scope in the photographer’s choice when creating a long exposure image. Images for the Long exposure competition should be created in camera using long exposures i.e.the effect, for example (The smoothing of water) not through photo shop or software manipulation.

Processing in software to enhance the effect where long exposures have been used are perfectly acceptable. For example, stacking images for night sky, milky way & star trails where long exposures are used. There are no restrictions on other processing except in creating long exposure effects like path blur etc.

Normal competition rules apply...
